Place holds on materials by telephone at 1-888-861-READ (7323), in person at any Library location, online or through our Mobile App.
Put your holds on hold while you go out of town with a Suspend Holds.
Limitations
Please be aware that there are some limitations on placing holds:
• Reference materials cannot be requested
•Items you request that are currently checked out may not necessarily be returned by the due date stated in the catalog
• Limit of 20 hold requests pending on your library card account at one time
Holds Notification
• The Library will attempt to notify you by phone or email when your requested items are ready for pickup.
• Call or visit any High Plains Library District location or sign up for email notification of holds.
• You must use the same library card to request and check out your requested item
• You may suspend your holds for a specific period of time while you are on vacation.
